I needed something, so bad because my insurance no longer will let me get Aczone 5% gel. So, I had to go on a search and I am, so glad this was here. Well, I did the baking soda, tea tree oil and lemon. Ok, the first day it burned like hell and I believe it was killing all the bad bacteria that was on my face. I kept it on for 10 minutes and moisturized like crazy afterwards. The next day of course my skin was peeling and their was beautiful skin underneath. Then on day 2 I did it and it was just my nose area that was burning like crazy. I did keep it on for 10 minutes and moisturized like crazy. Ok now I am on day 3 my skin looks brighter and the dark spots are lightening up. Now, day 4 there was no burning except one spot where there was a pimple. so now I believe the burning is killing the bacteria on the skin. can not wait to see what my face will look like tomorrow. Oh, almost forgot an important one, a lady complimented on how pretty my skin look today and I do not wear makeup. I was so surprised because I still have some post acne scars on my cheek. I will do this until my face clears up and then I will only do this once a week. I just wanted to share my story because it worked and it will be a staple for me for now on. Thanks for posting the recipes because it did work for me.

I mix my baking soda with Apple cider vinegar (with mother), pure aloe Vera straight off the plant, witch hazel, sugar and just a little vitamin e oil, and it works wonders.! I have oily skin so baking soda and Apple cider vinegar definitely help with that. I use once daily, preferably at night. I also have serious acne, and acne prone skin, and my dark spots have all vanished, and it keeps my acne down. I saw results in one week, but a big difference in two. I make probably a quarter cup of this at a time. I still stick with a face wash but I don't use it much, just in the morning, soon to stop though. Just b uy a gentle moisturizer and use on the skin afterward. You could use aloe vera but whatever works
