Use antibiotic ointment every night before bed. This will minimize the point and take the redness out of it to where you can barely notice it. I've been doing this for weeks now and it is almost gone. You can cover your piercing at night with a piece of a bandaid and add the ointment, or just glob the ointment on. This works amazing!!!

@ : Your tip was the one I chose to try because I had the Neo right here and stuff. Can I say I put it on at night...just a dot right on the bump, covered with a tiny square I cut from a gauze pad and then used a piece of gauze tape to secure it. TWO NIGHTS...I kid you not and it had shrunk to half the size. Thanks so much.

@ : Do I need to clean everyday with the saline solution first in the day time before using the ointment at night or just use the ointment on it's on daily without any saline soak or hot compress?

@ : Regular cleaning of the piercing site must be done accordingly. A fragrance-free antibacterial soap must be used because alcohol-based solutions may prolong the healing period.

Are we supposed to do the treatment with the stud on or are we suppose to remove the stud?

@ : treat on the stud and then it'll come off naturally. Please do not remove the stud forcefully.

Using Polysporin (antibiotic ointment) did absolute wonders to my keloid. It reduced in size (by a lot) after about 1 week of applying it every night. You should try it and it was recommended by a pharmacist and you won't get an infection either. I don't recommend the aspiring rub b/c it is very bad for your skin and could lead to infection, although it does work for some people you shouldn't take the risk!

I'm using Saline Solution but at first I thought it was a pimple on my nose and so in turn, I squeezed it and it started to bleed. Is that going to be some detrimental problem?

@ : Just don't force any more damage on it and keep it clean to avoid infection
