How does any association know what's best for each individual? We hear how healthy something is and then we hear that you can't consume no more than so many a day or week, drugs are given to us for remedies for sickness yet the side effects to those drugs are not worth the risk. When did an association begin telling me what to eat or how much? People wake up, can't you see the control factor they're throwing on you and we just sit idly by and allow it. Any organization, association, group, person, or whatever has not power over you unless you give it to them. Wake up!!!

If someone is vegetarian and won't eat a chicken then why would they eat a chicken embrio? Surely that's worse? They haven't even given the baby chicken a chance to live? Sounds very hypocritical to me!!

@ : The eggs that are produced commercially for consumption are unfertilized. That being said, the egg industry does do some pretty horrible things, but purely in the context of comparing the morality of eating an egg vs eating a chicken's flesh, eating an unfertilized egg isn't very damning.

@ : Eggs are not embryos. Eggs are the unfertilized material that once fertilized become embryos. So eggs are raw material unyet fertilized unyet any form of life. To appreciate genetic science helps.

Really, Simon? An egg is not an embryo unless it has been fertilized by a rooster. Fertilized eggs are not sold in stores. This must mean that you believe women are murderers for having their monthly cycle! Their eggs aren't fertilized, so they haven't even given the baby a chance to live! Sounds stupid, doesn't it?

Some people are commenting saying that eating an egg is worse than eating a chicken because the baby chicken has no chance to live. This is not true as an egg is basically a chicken's period. Not to gross you out or anything. The point is eggs that you consume aren't baby chickens.

I stopped eating all eggs after I saw a video of male chicks being ground up alive. I gave up meat because of health concerns, but I gave up eggs because the egg/chicken industry disgusted me.
