Can you use any type of onion?

I have noticed that my scars have improved. Had ankle surgery late June and once my scars had healed I began using dermalmd scar serum. Don't expect a miracle but it helps.

I have scabs right on the sides of my mouth and they have been there for a long time. What do I do?it is really hard to not pick at it because when I talk it moves and gets itchy.
