I am looking up this issue as well and have the profile as the previous post. I am not a doctor but my intuition is that may be associated with arthritis. In my 40's I started noticing certain changes, and a lot of them seem to be associated with arthritis. Loosing my 20/20 vision is an age related problem. But I also noticed uveitis, weird specks in light, after getting the flu. My knees flare up whenever I get sick, or the tempurature changes. If I don't eat extremely healthy I feel like I am about to get sick, constantly. My father had cancer, but died from the effects of chemotherapy on his heart. I got paranoid with my symptoms and Started taking heavy doses of vitamin C, even injections, and that worked wonders. I got the flu recently, and everything was ok except, high % Imm Gran. I looked it up, and again this points to rheumatoid arthritis. Which I haven't had diagnosed. I can't stand going on the wild goose chases from doctor to specialist doctor, then laboratory, back to doctor, especially if there is no cure. I'm not willing to take a non "cure" with added side effects. In the case of rheumatoid arthritis, your body's immune system is over reacting. It's out of whack and Vitamin C, and D3, help keep it in Check. Also juicing, natural food, makes a huge difference. Nutritional supplements along with excercise REALLY helps me. I see 40's as an age of prevention. We need to prolong the inevitable for as long as possible. I strongly recommend the homeopathic route whenever possible. The only side effect so far is brighter skin.

It could be caused by Lyme disease or one of the coinfections.

Not sure this thread is even active anymore but wondering about an IG level of 0.4. I had a recent spider bite that got very infected July 4, 2016, did a course of Keflex then it reinfected 2 weeks later and the PCP put me on Levaquin. My Labs were drawn too soon I think, 2 days after the Levaquin was finished. WBC count is 5.3 which is in normal range of 4.0 to 11 for my lab but seems a little on the low side. Any thoughts? Saw the PCP again last week who said his only concern is lymes but that would not show up in a lab test yet. I had a low grade temp off and on for a few days but that seems to be gone...wondering if that was caused but my extreme anxiety over the IG level...I went off the deep end over it!
